Guitar Hanger 2016
When
you have too many guitars, you need a place to put them. My wife
Paula generously suggested a multi-guitar hanger at the end of the
living room, and even started sending me pictures of examples. So
we brainstormed designs, and eventually came up with this
music staff idea. I did some sketches, and eventually settled on
this one, then expanded it out to full size on maple plywood. I
cut it out and veneered the edges, then woodburned the staff and music
onto the board. After staining and clearcoating, I mounted it to
studs, then attached one straight Hercules hanger in the center, with
three adjustable/angled ones on each side. Name that tune?
Now there is more room in the rest of the house to make more guitars....
